The November 2 episode brings a Broadway twist, Cynthia Erivo at the judges’ table and a one-week Monday schedule. Voting follows the Eastern and Central live window.

Dancing with the Stars moves to Monday for its November 2 Disney Night episode, giving viewers a one-week schedule change before Tuesday’s election coverage. ABC’s published schedule lists the two-hour show at 8–10 p.m. Eastern and Pacific, and 7–9 p.m. Central, with Cynthia Erivo appearing as guest judge.

For viewers planning their evening, there are two times to keep track of: the local broadcast and the live voting window.

Why DWTS is airing on Monday

TV Insider’s schedule report explains that ABC’s November 3 election coverage displaces the usual Tuesday episode. The show is scheduled to return to Tuesday on November 10, followed by the semifinals November 17 and finale November 24.

That makes the date as important as the theme for regular viewers. A reminder set for the usual Tuesday slot could miss this week’s competition entirely. It is worth checking the November 2 listing in the television guide or streaming service used to watch the show.

Where to watch Disney Night

ABC’s official episode announcement lists ABC and Disney+ as the broadcast platforms, in local time zones, with next-day availability on Hulu and Hulu for Disney+ subscribers.

The distinction between local viewing time and the live voting window is particularly important for viewers in the western United States. A broadcast listed at 8 p.m. Pacific should not be taken as an assurance that voting will still be open then.

Eight couples remain for an episode drawing on Disney stories and their stage adaptations. The announced routines include Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov’s quickstep to “A Star Is Born” from Hercules, and Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa’s paso doble to “Satisfied” from Hamilton.

The choices give the couples different challenges. A quickstep’s speed and coordination ask something different from the dramatic presentation of a paso doble. The night also brings back team dances, expanding the focus beyond each couple’s individual routine.

How the voting window works

ABC says viewer voting operates during the Eastern and Central live simulcast. Eligible online voters can use the official DWTS voting site during that window; participating U.S. wireless customers can also vote by text. Canadian viewers cannot use text voting.

Check the current instructions on that official page for eligibility and the voting options available. A next-day replay is a way to watch the performances, but it is not a substitute for participating during the announced live window.
