The Boston Celtics, having dodged a potential elimination in the Eastern Conference Finals with a thrilling 116-99 victory in Game 4, were brimming with renewed vigor. Their Coach, Joe Mazzulla, addressed the media on Wednesday morning, with his remarks focused on the steadfast resolve of his team.

Coach Mazzulla emphasised that trust within the team was paramount. He highlighted that the Celtics' optimal performance could be attributed to the trust they had developed in each other, a factor that arguably outweighed strategic adjustments or game plans.

Despite their recent victory, the Celtics remain on the back foot against Miami Heat, trailing 3-1 in the series. As they brace for the upcoming Game 5 at TD Garden, they are once again up against the prospect of elimination.

In anticipation of the Heat's strategic adaptations, Mazzulla accentuated the necessity of a unified defense. He predicted an aggressive offensive strategy from the Heat and urged his team to respond with robust defense, focusing on team-wide coordination.

The Celtics, though they entered the series as undeniable favourites, had suffered three consecutive defeats. This series of setbacks stirred wide speculation about possible internal issues. However, their triumph in Game 4 has temporarily quieted the critics and given the Celtics a lifeline to keep their season afloat.

When queried about the team's morale shift between Games 3 and 4, Mazzulla lauded their unity and communication. He pointed out that, despite being a relatively young team, the players have experienced multiple playoff runs together, establishing a mutual understanding and resolve to face their current predicament.

Jaylen Brown, one of the Celtics' key players, was already visualising a return to South Florida shortly after their Game 4 victory. He voiced his determination, "We want to come back to Miami." However, their journey to Miami would only be possible if they successfully stave off elimination in Game 5 at Boston.

Game 4 saw Jayson Tatum score an impressive 33 points, 25 of which were scored in the second half. His performance, coupled with the Celtics' overall shooting accuracy, set the stage for the 116-99 victory. Despite the challenges they had faced in the initial games, the team was in high spirits, embracing a step-by-step approach and hoping to continue the momentum into Game 5.

TD Garden, however, has been a challenging battleground for the Celtics in the postseason, with them having lost five of their last seven games there. The Heat, on the other hand, had been enjoying a perfect home record in the playoffs until their recent setback in Miami.

As for the Heat, their initial chance to advance to the NBA Finals for the second time in four seasons was hindered by the Celtics' resurgence. Jimmy Butler, the Heat's top scorer in Game 4, remained confident despite the setback. He was adamant about getting back to their successful rhythm and the belief in their ability to win.

Caleb Martin, who had a strong performance in Game 4, shared Butler's sentiment. He believed the defeat could potentially strengthen the Heat in the long run. It was this never-say-die attitude that defined the team and, according to Martin, it was just business as usual for them. The defeat was just another challenge they were ready
